Canon EOS 550D vs Canon EOS 60D

Friday, 5th November 2010. A day with silence in the room. A day where i felt lonely. Nothing to do besides surfing the internet. Blogging. Facebooking. Nothing much. I wake up this morning around 11.00 a.m. and went to toilet to brush my teeth and wash my face. Soon, I sat down on in front of my laptop. Looking at it. Wondering what am i going to do today? watch some movies in my laptop? nope.. I've transferred all the movies in Monica's (my Girl) hard disk. =_='' and so, I played DoTA. A famous game I assume. Almost every student knows that game. Played one game and right after that went to bed again. Wondering about Monica. Wondering whether she had wake up yet or not. I sent her a text. Less than 1 minute, a text arrive at my cellphone saying "I just woke up now, b". Well, now i know that she just woke up. LOL. anyway, i don't know what else to do now. i was planning to go out but then i need to save some money in order to buy the new Canon EOS 60D or Canon EOS 550D. Which ever is best for me. because as i know, both of it has a video recording in full HD. So, in the future, I am planning to get this DSLR and record some videos and from these videos, i would like to make some video clips out of it. So guys, just wait up for it. =D hopefully i can get the DSLR soon. ^_^ BTW, lets have a look some photos of the DSLR i mentioned before.

In many respects the EOS 550D is a 'baby EOS 7D'. As well as getting a resolution boost to a class-leading 18 megapixels and a significantly upgraded movie mode (which now offers full HD capture at up to 30 fps, has full manual control and the option to use an external stereo microphone), the EOS 550D gets the 7D's sophisticated new metering system (bringing it a lot closer to similarly positioned Nikon SLRs). It also sports a new widescreen (3:2) LCD panel, has improved button design and finally offers the ability to customize the Auto ISO function.

now lets have a look at Canon EOS 60D....

The 50D (and by extension the X0D range) was starting to look somewhat redundant: expensive (and in some ways outdated) compared to the rebel T2i (EOS 550D), underpowered compared to the EOS 7D. It seemed obvious that Canon needed something to balance out the EOS range to fill the big gap between the Rebel and the 7D. And so we have this, the EOS 60D.

With the 60D Canon has unashamedly moved the X0D range out of the 'semi pro' bracket and instead focused on the enthusiast photographer looking to upgrade from their Rebel. As a result, it's not the obvious continuation of the 30D - 40D - 50D pattern that its naming might suggest. Rather than being a direct upgrade replacement for the 50D, it's perhaps better understood as a 'Super Rebel.'

An Improvement in me..

hmm.. so guys.. this time i would like to show u that i had improvement in myself.. lol.. i'll show it by comparing two pictures that i took in two different times.. one time is before i knew how to use the aperture and shutter.. which was during the CSS trip to Simpang Pulai.. there, one of my senior , Edgar taught me on how to take landscapes photos.. so guys, without any further due.. tadaaa....

This is the photo that i took before i learned how to use the aperture and shutter. u dont seem to feel "wow!" when u look at this picture right? haha.. anyway, there's some improvement in myself after i learned bout the shutter and aperture.. well at least i have gained some knowledge, right? haha.. so guys, look at the next photo..

ahhhh.. this is more... what should i say..ermm.. "magnificient!", "incredible!", "marvellous!" and etc.. haha.. well as u can see guys, the photo is much more clearer than the previous one right? This time, I make the aperture to be 20 and the shutter speed to be longer. and that is the product.. haha.. anyway, i think that's all for now.. keep up with me and u will enjoy more of my marvelous photos.. =D
Thanks guys..

Digital Electronics 2 Project

pheww... this week.. i gotta say.. it was one hell of a week guys.. i guess all UTPians was like having tests everyday.. but in my case i got 1 test, 1 oral presentation, 1 quiz and of course, Digital Electronics 2 Project!!! but that project was easy though.. and my teammate (Ngo Lip Chee) and I had fun constructing the project. LOL.. anyway, i did took some photo of our project.. well.. it doesnt look as great as u imagine our project was.. but it was worth it guys!! 2 nights constructing the circuit.. and another night to modify it.. =D pheww.. we worked hard and guess how much we got for our marks!!! 18/20!!! thats like 90%!! haha.. so guys.. have a look our Circuit and product.. =D

before that guys, let me tell u what our project was all about.. this project is called Emergency Siren Simulator with Light Indicator. So basically its for emergency alarm.. whenever we press the button and hold to trigger the alarm, the alarm will wale up until u let go off the button to make it wale down. This is basically because of the frequency of oscillation climbs to a peak and when the button is released, the frequency descends due to the rising and falling voltage on the 22 microFarad capacitor. So, this is some of the details of our project. Well here goes the photos.. =D enjoy..

Faces of Precious Gift Home

Hey all,

This trip is not what you think. We had to make a trip to any of the unfortunate people to know more about them and experience their life there. So, this is actually a Moral Project which is compulsory to us. If there isn't any moral projects, we wont even think to go.. haha.. i know it sounds im not that caring but we don't have time. =P Anyway, my teammates and I have decided to go to one of the orphanage house in Ipoh which they called it Precious Gift Home. It really had a nice name for a place. They said the place is named Precious Gift Home because the owner believed that children are one of the precious gifts that God gave to mankind. However, the children there, are living happily and trusts God fully. And so, as usual, i took this opportunity once again to get some portraiture of the children. =D here are some of the great photos. Enjoy peeps.......

Another day after the long semester break Catholic Student Society UTP ended up going for a swim at Simpang Pulai's Waterfall. Well, i took this opportunity again to take photos of the waterfall. Yep, during that time one of my senior named Edgar taught me on how to use the aperture and shutter speed and so on. A new knowledge to me.. =D oyea, not forgetting he also introduced me his "filter" which is used to take scenery photos. Another knowledge on DSLR accesories. lol. Well, this is the outcome of the short lecture by him.. =D take a look. ^^

This is the outcome
